WE ARE THE CHURCH THIS IS OUR CITY

LoveABQ is our church's ministry to the practical needs of our city

By addressing the four pain points of poverty, homelessness, addiction, and human trafficking, we're meeting Jesus right where He said we'd find Him, in the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, and those in need. Through strategic partnerships and hands-on involvement, we’re not just helping people survive; we’re creating pathways for our neighbors to thrive. This isn't just about charity; it's about changing lives in Jesus’ name.

Partnering Organizations

Feed New Mexico Kids

Feed NM Kids is on a mission to fight childhood hunger across New Mexico—one weekend food bag at a time. Thousands of kids rely on school meals as their primary source of food, but weekends often leave them without. Feed NM Kids steps into that gap, partnering with schools and organizations to provide shelf-stable, nutritious food children can take home. The work is simple but life-changing. With the help of local churches and volunteers, they’re feeding bodies and lifting burdens from families who need it most.

Home Together & New Creation ABQ

Home Together and New Creation ABQ are reimagining what hope looks like for people experiencing homelessness. They offer safe, government-approved “Phase 1” transitional communities that include tent housing, gated access, showers, laundry, and essential services. Their approach is rooted in dignity and empowerment, helping people move from survival to stability. By focusing on community support and consistent care, they’re not just offering a place to sleep—they’re opening doors to long-term change, one person and one story at a time.

Mesilla Recovery

Mesilla Recovery offers Phase 2 transitional housing through a 32-unit apartment facility for individuals who have completed initial recovery or emergency shelter programs and are ready for the next step. This type of housing provides a supportive, structured environment where residents can begin living more independently while still receiving help from counselors, case workers, and an on-site pastor. With spiritual care, mentorship, and life skills development, individuals build the foundation needed for long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

Next Step Ministries

Next Step Ministries operates a Bible-based sober living program for men, offering shared housing and a structured path toward recovery. Residents participate in daily routines, group discipleship, and counseling as they work to rebuild their lives in a Christ-centered environment. The program emphasizes accountability, spiritual growth, and practical life skills, creating a supportive community for lasting transformation.

For The One

For The One is dedicated to preventing, rescuing, and restoring the lives of those affected by human trafficking and exploitation. Through school assemblies, city-wide awareness events, and educational campaigns like the Vulnerable No More initiative, they’re equipping young people and families with the knowledge to stay safe. But they don’t stop there—For The One also offers practical support for survivors, including job training, education, housing, and life stabilization. Every effort is rooted in the belief that every person matters and deserves to live free.
