Hey, we understand this may not be comfortable for you – going to a church you have never been to before. So here is some info that might help. And you can always call the office during business hours or send an email through our Contact Us page if you have more questions.
WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?
We are regular people a lot like you. We have families, jobs, grocery lists, and soccer games. We have dreams, challenges, birthday parties, and cell phones. And every week we get together for an awesome Christian worship experience.
WHAT IS CHURCH LIKE?
We’ll sing a few songs – upbeat music by our band (drums, bass, guitars, and synth). Our Pastor will talk about a truth from the Bible, make it relevant to your everyday life, and almost always mention something about God’s grace – you don’t have to earn God’s love, just receive it. There will be an offering, but there is no pressure for you to give. Sometimes we have guest speakers – world class friends of BCA. If so, the Pastor will usually be back the following week. If you would like someone to pray for you, people are available at the front of the auditorium after the service. Just go on up there.
WHEN IS CHURCH?
Service times are Sundays at 10AM and 5PM and Tuesdays at 6:45-8:00 PM. We’ll start on time and usually a Sunday service will last about 90 minutes.
WHERE IS THE CHURCH?
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Your nursery, preschool, and elementary age kids are always welcome in Kovenant World, our fun and safe children’s church just east of the main foyer.
On Sundays after praise and worship, mid-school students go to their own high-energy session in the YX youth auditorium (just a few feet west of the main foyer).
On Tuesdays, Mid and High school students have their own service at 6:45 PM in the YX auditorium.
WHERE DO I PARK?
Please feel free to park in the First Time Visitor parking. If you have children, it may be easier for you to park toward the east end of the lot because children’s church is on the east side of the building.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Clothes are required. No jammies, please. But you don’t have to wear a suit or pantyhose! (Whew!) Jeans, slacks, shorts, dresses, T-shirts, silk, flip-flops, heels – we’re good as long as everything important is covered. The main thing is for you to be comfy so you can focus on the service.
WHERE’S THE WELCOME CENTER?
We’d love for you to stop by the welcome center in the main foyer (opposite the big bunch of glass doors all in a row). The friendly people there can answer any questions you may have (like, "Where’s the restroom?") and help you get where you need to be.
See you in Church!
