Any age may participate in the Group Category.
Only one prize will be awarded to be shared by all in the group.
Judging begins at 6 PM on Monday, October 31, 2011, and ends promptly at 7:45 PM. You must present yourself at the judges’ table in the Multi-Purpose Room during this time to have your costume judged. Contestants will not be allowed to enter the line after 7:45 PM.
Prizes will be awarded at 8:15 PM in the Sanctuary. Winners MUST be present at the awards ceremony or their prize will be awarded to the contestant with the next highest points. A family member may not claim your prize. (The games will be closed in time for all contestants to get to the awards ceremony.)
Be assured that the judges will not judge family members. Rather, an average of all the other judges’ scores will be used in place of the family-member-judge’s scores.
Decisions of the judges are final. Ties will be broken by the highest score in Originality. If there is still a tie, a drawing will determine the winner.
By entering the Costume Contest you agree to allow pictures of you or your minor child to be used at our discretion in printed material, video material, the TV program, and website.
As believers in Christ, it is our place to be a light in this world. It is not our desire to magnify the kingdom of darkness. We hope the costumes will reflect this belief.
