Marshall and Cindi Townsley are the pastors of Believers Center of Albuquerque, a dynamic, non-denominational Christian family church. They are committed to leading as many people as possible to Christ and helping people from all walks of life develop a close personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
They began ministering in West Texas very early in their marriage. With literally nothing to their names they have watched as God has not only faithfully provided for their personal needs, but also the needs of the church. They have also seen God working through them to bring others up to a better place spiritually, physically and financially.
Since establishing Believers Center in 1980, Marshall and Cindi have remained passionate about helping others find their place in the plan of God and equipping them to build God’s Kingdom around the world.
Marshall and Cindi were both born and raised in Texas and have been married since 1973. They have two daughters – each is married – and two grandchildren, and have made their home in Albuquerque since 1977.
Marshall Townsley
Marshall Townsley is founder and Lead Pastor of Believers Center of Albuquerque. Since founding the church in 1980, Marshall has been ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing the grace of God and encouraging believers to rest in God’s unchanging character. Understanding both God’s grace and the power of faith, Marshall teaches the Word in a relevant, practical way that brings God’s influence into every aspect of daily living. With great passion for people, he leads believers to live from that “finished” place that only grace provides.
His weekly television broadcast First Things can be seen on Kasa Fox 2 on Sundays at 6:30 a.m. around New Mexico. In addition, Pastor Marshall travels throughout the country and the world ministering at conferences, seminars and special meetings.
Cindi Townsley
Cindi Townsley is Associate Pastor at Believers Center of Albuquerque, working alongside her husband Marshall since they founded the church in 1980. Cindi ministers the Word of God boldly and simply. She teaches with authority, clarity, and insight, with a divine passion to see people live the life God intended for them to live. She delights in helping people discover their own gifts and strengths that God has placed within them.
Believers Center is a praying church largely due to Cindi’s influence. She encourages believers to pray, listening to the Holy Spirit and together with him accomplishing God’s purposes in the earth.
In addition to her full schedule at BCA, Cindi has traveled extensively throughout the United States ministering at conferences and seminars. She is recognized as a strong and effective Bible teacher, and you’ll be challenged and encouraged by her practical application of the word of God to the everyday life of the believer.
